When the shotgun signals the start of a nationwide bicycle marathon in June, there won’t be any turning back for one Nipomo woman’s tandem-cycling team.

“Quitting isn’t an option,” said Angie Orellano-Fisher, an ultra-distance runner, who has lived in Nipomo for three years. “And that can apply to all aspects of your life.”
