Steve Edwards – Olympic Games News

European Team Mannatech athlete Steve Edwards who is a creative writer and record-breaking marathon runner met Lord Sebastian Coe and Olympic Games’ legend Daley Thompson last week after he was chosen to tell the story of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games.

Steve Edwards from Moreton is one of 100 people selected to be part of the British Telecom Storytellers campaign to help capture the excitement in the run-up to and during next year’s games.

Record-breaking marathon runner and fund-raiser Steve said: “I’m really excited to have been chosen as a BT Storyteller for London 2012. I hope I can help inspire the people of the UK that 2012 is the year they too can create their own personal Olympic story.”

Seb Coe, chairman of the London 2012 organising committee, said: “We want the London 2012 Games to be everyone’s Games and BT’s Storytellers campaign will not only help us capture the spirit and excitement that surround London 2012 but also enable us to bring the Games to people across the UK.”
