Spenser Mango - Wrestling | United States
Spenser Mango competes in the tough world of Greco-Roman wrestling. Discovered as an 88-lb. freshman while in high school, he has developed into a rock-solid 121-lb. athlete who has scored a trio of important wins at the New York Athletic Club, Sunkist Kids and at the World University Championships, where he captured his first world title. Recently, Spenser competed in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing where he placed 8th. With a goal of making the 2009-2011 Senior World teams and to bring home gold in the 2012 Olympics, Spenser's training program includes twice-daily mat workouts Monday through Friday as well as a session on Saturday. Spenser says the practice mat is where he faces some of his toughest competition as teammates push each other to become the best they can be. Spenser plans to coach youth and high school wrestling after he retires from active competition.
"My program of Mannatech products includes EM•PACT drink mix and SPORT capsules, as well as some of the Ambrotose® supplements. I believe they give me the extra boost I need during training and competition, and they help my post-training recovery."
