Triumphs of a Scholar/Athlete. "I have many different goals in life," admits Quinton Pruett. "My wrestling goals include becoming a national champion, world team member and winning an Olympic gold medal by 2012. On a more personal level, I hope to graduate from Arizona State University (ASU) with at least a 3.5 GPA, earn admission to a top-ten law school, serve as a missionary in Honduras and do everything possible to make my family proud of me and keep my faith strong." So far, Quinton is moving forward quickly in the right direction. With only about five years of competitive wrestling experience, Quinton has already been ranked #2 on the prestigious Fila Greco Junior World Team Ladder; was 2005 Junior World Team Trials runner-up and was named a Junior All-American; was presented both an ASU Maroon and Gold Scholar Athlete Award and a Dr. Charles Voy Scholar-Athlete Award; and became 2003 Arizona State Wrestling Champion. In addition, he has taken a number of other wrestling titles, honors and awards. Based on his outstanding performance thus far, don't be surprised when Quinton eventually achieves every one of his goals.
