Leslie Reuter - Adventure Racing | United States

Leslie Reuter says she was drawn to adventure racing by the new challenges that come with every event and the mental toughness it takes to survive each competition. She is a member of the National Champion United States Adventure Racing Association team along with Team Mannatech member Shaun Bain. She was also on the 2005 and 2007 championship teams and won the Texas Mountain Bike State Championship in 2004 and 2005. She says her toughest competition for her was the world famous 2008 & 2009 Primal Quest endurance event that included several days of nonstop hiking, biking, climbing and paddling. She finished in 5th & 6th place after seven days of racing. Leslie runs three times a week, cycles three times a week and in the summer practices paddling twice a week on a nearby lake. In 2011, she will be racing with nationally recognized Team Tecnu Staphseptic. She will compete in 8 races here in the United States and in Canada. Each race will vary from 24 hours to 7 days in length.
