Homer “The Nature Boy” Gibbins is truly a warrior. After nearly 250 amateur bouts, he turned professional under the tutelage of Evander Holyfield. Since then he has established a solid 44-14 record, which includes 31 knockouts and a World Boxing Federation Light Welterweight title, as well as the International Boxing Union’s welterweight title, which he won in June 2006. Homer hits as hard from the podium as he does in the ring as a much-sought-after evangelical speaker. Homer also works with children, providing a positive example and emphasizing education.
