Introducing Fernando De Moraes - a star midfielder and all over fan favourite. As a seasonal Futsal campaigner, this year saw Fernando break into the Australian side on the grounds of consistent performance and frequent scoring. In as early as January Fernando was selected in a squad of 18 players by Qantas Futsalroos head coach, Steven Knight, for a training camp held in Sydney. Not long after this Fernando was named in the Futsakroos squad which travelled to Thailand to compete in the AFC Futsal Championships. This was a true achievement considering that Fernando was the only Victorian named in the 14 man squad.
