Sprint Car Racing
Little did Donny Schatz know when he was racing go-carts at 11 that he’d really be going places. Big places, that is, and quickly.
Just four short years later, Donny followed in his father’s footsteps and started racing sprint cars at 15. He spent the next three years racing regionally before he joined the sport’s premiere series, called WoO, the World of Outlaws, at 18.
Since then, he’s sped ahead to win WoO rookie of the year in 1997. By 2003, he was known as one of the best Outlaws in both North America and Australia.
With major wins in 2007, he was chosen to drive for NASCAR star Tony Stewart in 2008, and won his debut in car number 15, sponsored by Armor All. By 2009, Donny had become only the second driver in the series’ 31-year history to win four WoO titles in a row, after the closest championship title fight ever.
A welcome addition to our Team Mannatech family, when he’s not racing, Donny enjoys spending time with his family and hunting back home in North Dakota.
