Don Elgin - Track & Field | Australia
Being born without the lower portion of his left leg was no barrier to veteran Team Mannatech pentathlete Don Elgin. He first won Gold as part of the Australian 4x100m relay team competing at the 1994 Paralympic World Championships. Don’s interest then shifted from sprinting to pentathlon and, after finishing fourth in the event at the1996 Atlanta Paralympic Games, he triumphantly claimed the Silver medal at the 2002 World Championships. In 2004 Don went on to become a triple Paralympic medallist, snagging Bronze in both the pentathlon and the 4x100m relay, as well as a Silver medal in the 4x400m relay. Don’s never-say-die attitude, coupled with his outstanding sporting achievements, have earned him a well-deserved place in the Mannatech Hall of Fame.
“I have made sport a major part of my life and have represented the country at Paralympic level on three occasions. I am grateful to have had the support of the Team Mannatech program throughout my sporting journey. Sport and EM•PACT products go hand in hand with my running leg when packing my kit. I am even more delighted to have the support of this world leader as I look to the future.”
