Brian Murphy

Brian Murphy of Redondo Beach, California was a junior lifeguard from the age of 9 to 17. At age 14, he was told that if he put his mind to it, he could travel the world with a surf/racing career, so he put everything he had into his sport and has never looked back. He says his most memorable moment was winning his first U.S. National Ironman title in 2005. This big win was followed by many others, including being a 9-time National Lifesaving Association team member and captain, a 2006–2009 Hennessey’s U.S. Paddle Board Champion (12 ft class) and a 2009 U.S. National Lifesaving Paddle Board and Surf Ski Champion.

To follow this up, Brian would like to lead the U.S. National Lifesaving Association team to a “top five” finish at the 2010 World Championships in Egypt, defend all his current titles and pass the torch on to the next generation. To keep up this amazing momentum, he swims, paddle boards, runs, rides horses, etc.

Introduced to Mannatech by a friend early in 2009, Brian joined the Team Mannatech group because he thinks the products are fantastic, and he believes that a good quality of life is something worth sharing with others.

“Thanks to Mannatech products, I have achieved a level of fitness I didn’t think I could reach. My body recovers faster and my energy levels are through the roof. At any given competition, I could have upwards of 10 races in a day. These products allow me to back up event, after event, after event. And then do it all over again the next day.”
