Bill McCracken continues to compete and excel in swimming more than two decades after his undergraduate days at Texas A&M. His accomplishments include two National Championships in the 400M and 800M free in the 45-49 age group in 2008, All-American in 2008, four-time Tiburon Mile age group winner. Bill has amassed 25 individual and 22 relay top ten U.S. Masters times since 2003. Bill also has three top ten world times in Fina Masters age group competitions. To maintain top level form Bill adheres to a rigorous training schedule that includes swimming five to six times per week (an average of 22 kilometers/13.2 miles) and weight/core strength training three times per week. Bill says he has no plans to ever stop competing as some Masters athletes have competed at 100 years of age.
