Melissa Gorman - Swimming | Australia

Melissa Gorman is one of Australia's emerging distance swimming stars. In 2006 she was a silver medallist in the 800m Freestyle at the Commonwealth Games. The following year she enjoyed an impressive sequence of wins including the Australian Open Water 10km Championship title, first place in 1500 Freestyle at the Australian Shortcourse Championships, and a gold medal at the Midmar Mile, the world's largest open water swim, in South Africa. She is a determined young athlete who loves her sport and achieved her dream of swimming for Australia at the Beijing Olympics. She specialised in the 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle events. Melissa has a bright future ahead of her and we are proud to have her as part of Team Mannatech.
