Deb Lovely-Acason - Weightlifting | Australia

Record-breaking weightlifter Deborah Acason is a genuine Australian sporting legend.  She has now competed in two World Championships, two Commonwealth Games and two Olympic Games, collecting a swag of Gold and Silver medals.  Deborah has yet another gruelling year of training ahead of her as she prepares for her next competition in Launceston, where she hopes to qualify for the upcoming World Championships set to take place in Korea later in the year.  It’s an important competition for Deborah, who is looking for victory at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in October, as well as a chance to compete in a third Olympic Games.
