Christal Ransom - Judo | United States

At the age of 13, Christal took up Judo for one purpose, to gain more strength and balance for playing ice hockey. She discovered not only a passion for Judo, but also that she was very good in the sport. Since then Christal has excelled in competitions nationally and internationally, reaching one of the sport's highest levels by winning the 2008 U.S. Olympic trials. She is currently the 2010 National Champion and training for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
