Exercise and Activity

Keeping muscles toned and limber is fundamental to your healthy lifestyle. Aerobics, jogging and weight-training with gym equipment are ideal if you have stayed fit over the years. Keep up the good work!

For the Baby Boomer who is looking for a less intense activity, try bowling, golf, dancing, walking and other non-stressful ways to work muscles. Stretching to keep joints flexible with stretching and maintaining cardiovascular health are highly recommended. As a Baby Boomer, you should also eliminate any unhealthy habits such as smoking or unhealthy eating.

Nutrition

Maintaining a healthy weight is important for Baby Boomers. Since excess weight can lead to numerous health issues a healthful, easy-to-stay-on low-glycemic diet is a great choice for you. Even if you are not overweight be sure to drink plenty of water, not soft drinks, and eat fruits, vegetables and low fat protein like fish and chicken.
